Uttaranchal is one of the most beautiful and enchanting region of northern India. Uttaranchal became the 27th state of the Republic of India in November 2000.

The much famed hill station of India and the summer capital of Uttar Pradesh, Nainital, the land of many peaks and lakes Mussoorie and the holy pilgrimage destinations of Haridwar and Rishikesh are popular tourist sites in the Uttaranchal region, visited from people all over the country throughout the year.
